Welcome to the homepage of the Bristol Local Group of INCOSE UK. Information related to the purpose of the group, forthcoming events and contact details can be found below.

Mission statement

  • To provide a forum for existing INCOSE members to network in a less formal environment;
  • To promote and improve the practice of Systems Engineering;
  • To foster connections with other professional bodies within the same regional area and thereby promote cross fertilisation of knowledge and experience across sectors and community disciplines; and
  • To promote awareness of INCOSE UK and encourage membership.

Forthcoming events

Have you always wanted to share your ideas, but never found the time? Well, the perfect opportunity is now here to share ideas and meet with like minded colleagues in an easy going evening atmosphere. Attendance to Bristol Local Group events will not be restricted to INCOSE members and, where possible, will be free of charge.

An updated Forthcoming Event Flyer (Word) for 2007-2008 is now available.

  • Wednesday, 09 July 2008 - “F111 case study workshop”  - flyer (rtf) - note the event date has changed from 16th July.

Please note that whilst these dates are unlikely to change, the exact content of the events may vary!

The main purpose of each evening is to allow INCOSE members (and potential new members) to meet, ask questions and share their views on the chosen topic. Refreshments usually provided at 18:30 for 19:00.

Our Meeting Venues

Unless otherwise indicated, the event will take place in Room 2D7 (past the shops in the middle of campus, up the stairs through the library/reception area, and then down the corridor on the left hand side) on the University of the West of England (UWE), Frenchay Campus, Bristol.  This is a different room to the one normally used for the past two years, but is in the same area of campus and was used for the MODAF tools event.
