In Service Systems Working Group

Mission statement

The Working Group will advise the INCOSE UK Chapter Board on:

1. The difficulties encountered in practice in applying authoritative guidance on SE, including the INCOSE SE Handbook, to systems which are in service. The Group should restrict itself to difficulties which are related to the fact that the systems are in the in service phase of the lifecycle.
2. Best current practice in adapting SE guidance to overcome these difficulties
3. Additional work that the INCOSE UK Chapter might initiate to assist its members further in overcoming these difficulties
   In formulating advice, the Group should consider the widest practical range of current practice across market sectors and across business/technical disciplines, drawing on relevant existing INCOSE products, Working Group members’ experience and published material.

The Working Group aims to complete this task by Autumn 2008.

General Information

The Working Group meets every other month. Technical work is carried out at and between meetings. Participation by telephone and/or email is welcomed.
